The SMARC® Mini-ITX Mainboard (Carrier Board) MB-SMARC-3 in combination with a standard SMARC® 2.0/2.1 module forms a very compact hardware kit, which can be used as a freely scalable embedded PC platform, designed for both x86 and ARM architecture, thanks to its modular structure and the unified SMARC® pin-out. The PC system can thus be easily adapted to the requirements of the application with uniform interfaces and mechanical dimensions.
The numerous expansion options (M.2 key E, B, M cards and PCIe x1) and high speed interfaces (2x Gbit Ethernet, 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 (10 Mbit/s)) offer a high degree of flexibility and thus allow simple, fast and cost-effective expansion of functionality and performance. Typical areas of application are PC systems for automation, visualization, gaming and monitoring as well as all applications with high demands on quality, durability and long-term availability.
