Environmental influences such as high humidity and corrosive gases can cause massive damage to electronical assemblies and devices and lead to failures in the short, medium or long term.
To counteract this, various measures can be taken, such as
TQ Smart Coating is a surface protection applied by dipping. An ultra-thin fluoropolymer layer reliably protects the assemblies against humidity and corrosive gases.
It is not only the visible surface that is protected. Due to the excellent flow properties of the fluoropolymer-containing medium and the resulting ultra-thin layer thickness, even the smallest cavities (e.g. even underneath BGAs) are reliably protected. PCB edges and drill holes, which offer particularly high attack potential for moisture penetration into the FR4 base material, are also reliably sealed.
TQ Smart Coating is offered as an additional service for our embedded modules, but also for other electronic assemblies such as carrier boards, as well as for entire system units.
Prototypes can also be quickly and easily provided with the TQ Smart Coating. A perfect way to test this option quickly and easily.
