The Intel Atom and Intel Core based Embedded BoxPC's and hardware platforms from TQ achieve great flexibility through extensive software compatibility, high computing power, the possibility of using a wide range of mass storage devices and their various expansion options via slots such as Mini PCIe and M.2. This makes it easy to use frame grabber cards, fieldbus expansions, additional IO's and wireless interfaces. The latest standards such as WiFi 6 have already been taken into account, allowing wireless connections with high data throughput and optimized transmission efficiency. The high graphics performance is the basis for high-resolution image processing and visualization as well as a wide range of AI-supported applications.
These solutions are particularly suitable for demanding applications in the field of intelligent gateways, industrial automation, robotics, image processing, medical technology and logistics.
Specialized for gateways, router and switches, our ARM based devices score with their energy-efficient processor architecture, industrial interfaces and functional extensions as well as the high-speed communication interfaces, which are especially covered by the QorIQ-Layerscape communication processors. The performance spectrum ranges from entry-level solutions based on the i.MX 6UL to Dual Cortex-A72 versions with integrated TSN-capable 4-way Gigabit Ethernet L2 switch.
