This demo shows the implementation of the IEC 61850 PIS-10 stack from SystemCORP on a STKa28 from TQ-Systems GmbH. It was created for developers who want to write IEC 61850 applications for the STKa28. Developers should have at least a basic knowledge of IEC 61850. The enclosed instructions describe the first steps in using the IEC 61850 Server/Client Application Demo and enable you to develop your own IEC 61850 applications.

The core of the STKa28 is the TQMa28 with an ARM® 9 CPU. The components contained in the starter kit constitute a modular system enabling you to develop your own product ideas. Development of graphic interfaces can be started immediately using a TQ display kit which is adjusted for a starter kit. To develop
your own hardware you can use the certified and qualified circuit components of the starter kit in your own designs.
